Old Fashioned Drinkin'

That's right, another piece of wisdom about the older, far more soused means of drinking.

This time, let's talk Old-Fashioned's. A real drink. THE symbol of old-fashioned drinkin', hence the name. Out of fashion lately because it's been watered down with bourbon. Make it with rye though, and it blows your mind. Enjoy.

Ingredients

2 dashes aromatic bitters

½ tsp sugar dissolved with water and bitters

1½ oz Rye.

1 cherry

1 orange slice

1 lemon wedge

Instructions

Fill glass with ice. Add cherry, orange slice and lemon wedge. Pour in bourbon. Serve in a rocks glass over ice.
