Post-Ironic Thanksgiving

For those of you that remember the whole 'Siberian Sangria Fiasco,' please forget it. I would like to make a fresh start cooking for the internet with a new series, Post-Ironic Thanksgiving.  I will be sharing some of my favorite fall recipes just in time for your Thanksgiving.
During the Dark Times, when the only cooked things were drugs and an occasional soup was made when cigarette ash fell into a glass of Richard's Irish Wild Rose, we saw all food, on all fronts become snooty, stingy and ironic. Lets enjoy food with our new found sense of taste and smell.
